OK so not a marathon or anything LOL 2 minutes actually but I DID IT!!

Butt Flapping - but I ran on.
Apron Flapping - but I still ran on.
Bat Wings Flapping - and I kept running on!

I was only going to go 1 minute but when that minute was up I though 1 minute 30 seconds then I will stop and before I knew it 2 minutes appeared. Ok so I usually believe I can do less than apparently I am strong enough to do. Old habits die hard.

I AM DEAD! LOL but I am so super proud of myself. Poor treadmill. It has to be thinking “WHAT THE HELL?” lol but it survived and so did I.

YIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPIE FOR ME!!

HAPPY MONDAY!!

OK so totally not so happy as we had a pipe break in the attic yesterday afternoon. And of course it cant be right by thte attic hole easy to be fixed noooooooooooooooo it has to be across the narrow little icky crawl space on the other side. Luckily its somewhat easy to get to the main water shut off so there isn’t to much damage but still.. so not what we needed. I would say right now but frankly there is never a time when this is ok.

Anyways on to the happy news. Last Monday I started working out. I have been doing 15 mins every day ( except Sunday I tooks a day of rest). My average has been 3.4 mph and I have been carrying 1lb 9oz water weight balls too. I am simply beyond proud of myself as I usually make it 2 or 3 days and then the excuses take over and poof I quit. But not this time. This year I have decided to “Change my mind” about working out. I still don’t like it but I do see the benefits of doing it. By the end of the week I felt better after working out. Cant say I was energized but mentally I just felt better. So I am challenging myself to another 6 days on the treadmill. I figure 6 days at a time, 15 mins at a time. I have also decided that instead of adding minutes to the walk I am just going to add speed and incline for the same 15 mins. My attention span on the treadmill, at least for now, really is only about 13 mins so this works great for me. Of course that will change the longer I do this but it makes me feel more like I will keep it up if I can say “its only 15 mins, go on go do it”. Ahhh the mind games we play hahahahaha.

The happy happy happiest news is that because of the walking AND cutting wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back on all the white carb crap I had been stuffing my face with most of the month of December I have lost 6 (yes S I X) pounds this last week. I know that wont keep up but MAN its nice to get it back off. And yes I know “its water weight” but hey weight on the scale is weight on the scale. You are either carrying it or you are not. Never understood why people say “but its water weight”. Soo?? Weight is weight! You keep it or lose it, water or not. Anywhoooo That puts me 22 pounds away from goal. I want to reach my goal weight by October 2nd. Nice part is that means I only have to lose about .55 lbs per week to make it or 2.2 lbs per month to make it. LOL I think I can do that.

So anyways that is my Monday. Dale has to take the day off to work on the pipes, we have to get to Costco, back to school work today… and well life goes on.

Ok so this is slower going then I thought it would be but I am picky *sigh* I wish I was just more freeeeeeeeee flowing and artistic. Anywho I have the cover basically done and 2 pages. The back cover is done to but I don’t have a picture of it up yet.
